CALAIS (2010 FIBA World Championship) – Tunisia suffered a heavy defeat to Finland in the Calais/Dunkerque tournament over the weekend.

The Finns, warming up for their EuroBasket 2011 qualifying campaign, prevailed 92-68.

Tunisia did have moments in the game when they were difficult to contain and left the impression they could be a dangerous side by August 28 when their FIBA World Championship campaign tips off.

“It wasn't an easy win,” Finland’s assistant coach Pekka Salminen said.

“Tunisia played good basketball.”

Tunisia are in Group B at the FIBA World Championship with Team USA, Slovenia, Croatia, Brazil and Iran.
