RIO DE JANEIRO (FIBA World Championship) - Tiago Splitter is ready to give his full focus to Brazil's FIBA World Championship campaign after finally arriving at the team's training camp in Rio de Janeiro.

Splitter was a late arrival as he finalised details of his move to the San Antonio Spurs, but with everything now sorted the 25-year-old is keen to get on and catch up with his international team-mates.

"I'm very happy with the events of the last month, mainly sorting out the move to the NBA," he said. "But now it's time to think about the national team.

"We are in a great moment. We have a great squad and a very good coach. We have everything we need to go far in the World Championship.

"I already know this group well and will have no problem belonging. I am a little bit behind the rest of the team physically, but I will work hard to get into their rhythm."

Brazil have been drawn in Group B for the FIBA World Championship, and will face Iran, Croatia, Slovenia, the United States and Tunisia.
