Alex Mumbrú made an important move last summer by signing with Bizkaia Bilbao after a whole season playing with Joventut Badalona and Real Madrid. Despite some injuries, Mumbru has played quite solid basketball for the Basque team, averaging 13.4 points and 3.4 rebounds per game in the Liga ACB.

We are talking here about a player who can do a bit of everything on the court, playing both forward spots thanks to his height (2.02m) and skills - especially his long range shooting.

A good rebounder and an intense player, he has been a solid contributor to the National Team in the extremely successful last four years: collecting gold at the 2006 FIBA World Championship, silvers at the 2007 EuroBasket and 2008 Olympic Games and gold at the 2009 EuroBasket.
