There isn’t one thing in particular that Mindaugas Lukauskis could claim to be top-class at – he’s a very decent shooter, good defender and an above-average athlete.

However, Mindaugas will be the glue-guy in the National Team just as he was in Asvel Villeurbanne this season or in Lietuvos Rytas Vilnius earlier in his career.

Lukauskis could very well fit the role of a sixth-man if he gets his act together after a mediocre season in the French Pro A, where he didn’t fit in with the run-and-gun style of the league.

The player will be one of the more experienced in the team and that might be his advantage in the battle for court time as well as the ability to play both at the shooting guard and small forward spot where he is equally effective.
