Kresimir Loncar has become one of the most solid players in the Russian SuperLeague.
He played successively for Rostov and Kazan and will move to Khimki Moscow next season.
He started his career in a minor league in Germany before joining Benetton Treviso at only 19.
He is not very mobile but he has a long reach. He has been a reserve player since making the National Team for the first time, but his good defence and his interesting passing skills for a center have been useful for Croatia.
With Nikola Vujcic and Sandro Nicevic gone, he will have the responsibility of sharing his experience with this young team in the frontcourt, helping the likes of Stanko Barac and Ante Tomic.
