Davor Kus had a difficult first year with Benetton Treviso with a lot of ups and downs and the disappointment of his club eventually not making the play-offs in the Lega.

He had already had a tough season in 2007-08 with Malaga and had to come back home to play with Cibona Zagreb the following year.

He remains a good option for Josip Vrankovic in the back-court thanks to his shooting skills as he scored 18 points on 4-of-6 shooting from three-point range in the last game against France at EuroBasket 2009.

He might be the most experienced player of the national team at the 2010 FIBA World Championship in Turkey.

He will have to share his knowledge with his younger team-mates. He is also a good playmaker.
