Splitter has spent most of his career in Spain and last year he became the ACB MVP after averaging 15.6 points and 6.7 rebounds with two-time champion Caja Laboral.

As he is close to making the jump to the NBA with the San Antonio Spurs, Splitter has also shown consistency with the Brazilian National Team in the last five years averaging double digits in points.

Despite being only 25-years-old, Splitter already has two FIBA World Championship appearances under his belt and his third is expected to be his best yet.

A lot will be expected and required of him if Brazil are to go far into the tournament.
