Renaldas Seibutis was a big name in Lithuanian basketball scene as a youngster, his star faded slightly after moving to Olympiacos Piraeus and spending most of the time on the bench.

Seibutis has been playing in the Spanish ACB for a couple of years now and had another good year in Bilbao, but decided to part ways with the side in hope of finding a bigger role elsewhere.

The NBA draftee from 2007 will provide the Lithuanian national team with a different game compared to other shooting guards, which mostly rely on the outside game.

Seibutis, once seen as the diamond of his age-group, will now have the chance to prove that the years playing abroad only increased his skill level and that leaving Lithuania at a very young age was not a bad decision.
