Enver Soobzokov is one of the most experienced players on Jordan’s National Team but he has not worn the national jersey many times.

However, he was a part of last summer’s historical campaign at the FIBA Asia Championship in Tianjin.

Mario Palma uses him as a shooter off the bench and his playing time has gone down compared to 2007.

The 32-year-old takes most of his shots from three-point territory but does not have the greatest percentage.

His grandfather Abdel Karim Abduallah Shwabzoka immigrated to Jordan in 1948 from Caucasus in Stalin’s former Soviet Union and got Jordanian citizenship from King Abduallah.
