Kevin Love’s game seems to be a perfect fit for international competitions and for coach K.

“Kevin is a good player, he's smart,” said Krzyzewski.

“He can rebound and he's got the best outlet pass in basketball.

Part of it is getting to know his game and how it blends with this athletic group of guys.”

In addition to being an incredible defensive rebounder, Love shoots at a high percentage.

A great passer for a big man, he also has the ability to step out off the paint and hit jumpers all the way out to the three-point arc.

The biggest challenge for him comes at the defensive end, where he is sometimes undersized for his position.

He’s able to make up for that because he always did well handling the pick and roll.

He’s not considered to be a very athletic player, but Krzyzewski has said he’s not looking only for great athletes.
