Nikos is one of the most loved players by the fans.

Not only after being, unfairly elbowed in the eye by Varejao in Hamamatsu four years ago, but also because of his low profile.

To all Greek fans he is just the boy next door.

On the other hand, Zisis is a pure professional.

Since the Olympic games in 2004, he is the only player who has appeared with Greece in all major FIBA Europe and World Championships.

He is known as the lord of the rings (medals) since he is the player with the most medals at cadet, junior, young men and men’s European and World Championships.

The guard has also been playing away from his home country since 2005, with two years spent in Benetton, the other two in Moscow with CSKA and now he is ready for his second year at Siena.

With more than 100 national team appearances, more than 15 medals and club titles, Nick is arguably the most experienced player of the Greek team.
