Now is the time for Kostis (and not… Kostas).

The smiley scorer from Thessaloniki is back for good with the National Team and ready to take his chance to play at the FIBA World Championship.

His heart may belong to the team he loves the most in PAOK where he grew up, but his mind is only on basketball.

A pure shooter and scorer, he proved last season that he was mature enough to make the 12 man roster of Greece.

After playing in Spain and Italy for almost three seasons and always being one of the top scorers (as he was with PAOK during the 2008-9 season), Kostis was loved by Spanish fans last season with newly-promoted Obradoiro.

He was one of the top-three players in the league that fans loved (just behind Juan Carlos Navarro and Tiago Splitter) although he played for an unknown team.

On the court he puts enormous amounts of energy into doing what he knows the most - playing basketball.
