Jonas Maciulis left Zalgiris Kaunas being one of the leaders at the club, many wondered if pursuing a career abroad would come with a cost of playing a smaller role.

This turned out to not be true – the player started 9 of 10 games in Euroleague and was one the best when it came to scoring with the ball.

Sharing the name and surname with one of the most famous Lithuanian poets ever, Maciulis’ game does not resemble poetry in any way.

Jonas has a great build and relies on toughnes and, physical strength to beat his opponents while also holds the spirit of a true fighter which in a way, just strengthens Maciulis’ positions in the squad.

He’ll play as big of a role as he has ever played in the national team and all of this in a side overfilled with wing players.
