He was an invitee to the National Team camp for EuroBasket 2007 and the 2008 Olympic Games and finally made the roster in 2009 - a big step in his promising basketball career.

Now he will fight to join the FIBA World Championship roster and help Spain with his tremendous versatility.

Just 22-years-old, he is a key player for Power Electronics Valencia, the current champion of the EuroCup and was drafted in 2009 by the Portland Trail Blazers.

Claver can play the "3" and "4", hit the open three and the jumper off the dribble, but can also put the ball on the floor and drive to the basket. 

His great athleticism helped him to win the 2007 Slam Dunk contest of the Liga ACB.
