“Ricardinho” as he is nicknamed is often the last player cut before a championship.

He arrived late on the international scene, being called up for the National Team for the first time in 2005 at 27 years of age.

He was part of the Olympic squad in 2008 in Beijing with a good back-up role, but unfortunately he could not make the team for FIBA Africa Championship.
